APAA member Jennifer Klos

APAA welcomes Dallas-based art advisor, independent curator and lecturer Jennifer Klos. Formerly a Curator at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, Ms. Klos gained an in-depth knowledge of museum best practices and developed relationships in the art world that inspired her to found Collector House in 2016; offering a full range of art advisory, collection management and strategic consulting for private clients, corporations, and institutions.

Ms. Klos earned a bachelor’s degree in History of Art and French from Vanderbilt University, and a master’s degree in the History of decorative arts, design, and culture from the Bard Graduate Center in New York. She holds degrees from the Inchbald School of Design, London and Christie’s Education, London, and received hands-on training in collection management from her experience at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Ms. Klos regularly lectures at Southern Methodist University Continuing and Professional Education in the history of art collecting. Listen to her podcast on building a private art collection here.

An active member of the Dallas art community, Klos recently joined the Dallas Art Fair Foundation Board and is a member of the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Contemporary, Nasher Sculpture Center, Kimbell Art Museum and The Modern Museum of Fort Worth.
