Ash Fine Art, LLC was started by Lorinda Ash in 1999, after spending ten years at the Gagosian Gallery. Located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Ash Fine Art offers a wide range of art advisory services to meet the needs of both residential and corporate clients.

Our services are geared towards a select number of private clients whose interests range in building, managing and maximizing fine art collections. We advise our clients on the acquisition and sale of modern and contemporary paintings, photography, sculpture and prints. We offer assistance in inventory management, framing, proper fine art care and conservation. We strive to educate our clients in the collection process, navigating through galleries, auctions, artist studio visits, art fairs and museum exhibitions.

Collecting art provides many rewards, one of which is the potential appreciation in value. Our clients have enjoyed extraordinary performance in the value of their collections, and we have an excellent record of identifying individual artists of importance early in their careers, when acquisitions are

more affordable. While this may not be the primary goal of building a private or corporate art program, it can have a positive secondary financial benefit.

For residential projects we work with our clients’ diverse budgets, lifestyles, spaces and tastes to provide them with distinctive art for their homes which will stand the test of time. We work easily with designers and architects to enhance their vision of interiors with paintings, photography, fine art prints, video and sculpture.

Ash Fine Art has, since inception, proudly worked on major corporate office relocations. Corporate projects have included reinstalling, relocating and purchasing art for the New York law offices of Proskauer, Jones Day, Fox Rothschild, and Davis & Gilbert, to name a few. Other Wall Street and financial firm projects have included work for Ares Management, Halcyon Partners, Boston Properties, and the relocation of Bear Stearns offices from 55 Water Street to midtown Manhattan. We have worked on many other small and midsize offices.

We specialize in corporate projects which maximize budgets to acquire and reuse clients’ existing suitable work that reflect their corporate culture and an appropriate, contemporary style which appeals to the largest number of employees, clients, and visitors. We tailor our recommendations based on the project’s interior design and functional needs, in addition to budget. We work easily with senior management, architects, designers and construction management teams.
