With almost three decades of experience, Cardiff Dugan Loy is a leader in the global contemporary art market. Emphasizing the importance of academic knowledge, thorough analysis, and an extensive network of contacts, Loy’s insights and connections enable clients to access top-tier artworks, often not readily available to the public. Understanding each client’s unique preferences, aesthetic, and budgetary considerations, Loy collaborates closely and discreetly with clients to curate distinctive art collections.

CDL, Inc. offers comprehensive services aimed at facilitating the art acquisition process. Operating on a commission-based model, our services include: vetting artworks, interfacing with dealers, bidding at auction, navigating art fairs, archive and conservation management, art library development, and a white glove approach to integral logistics like framing, insurance, delivery, installation and lighting.

Loy holds a BA with honors in art history from Brown University and an MA in Arts Management from Columbia University. Initially working in the museum world, Loy shifted into the private sector upon relocating to Los Angeles, where she served for seven years as the inaugural curator for Hollywood agent Michael Ovitz’s private and corporate art collections. In 1997, she co-founded CDL alongside Eric Loy, transforming it into a premier provider of art advisory services globally.
