Must-See Exhibitions & Museums
For three days only, just around the corner from the Frieze tent, rising-star British painter Daisy Parris will exhibit an exceptional textile installation, Kiss the Storm, alongside the launch of the artist’s first monograph. The installation will be on view at the Censors’ Room in The Royal College of Physicians’ iconic Grade I–listed modernist building in Regent’s Park, designed by renowned architect Sir Denys Lasdun.
Open: October 14 from 12:00 pm - 4:30 pm and October 15 & 16 from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Sadie Coles HQ, Savile Row
The veteran London dealer Sadie Coles is opening a new space in a renovated six-storey Georgian townhouse at 17 Savile Row with an exhibition of London-based painter Lisa Brice. The Savile Row location will replace Sadie Coles’ previous Mayfair space on Davies Street and is just a stone’s throw from her Kingly Street location, where Arthur Jafa will present his first solo show with the gallery.
Chinese art collector Yan Du is opening a space in Bloomsbury dedicated to showing the work of Asian artists, joining the neighbourhood of collector Alexander Petalas’ space, The Perimeter. Yan Du Projects (YDP) will debut with a solo show of Chinese artist Duan Jianyu, curated by Yang Zi.

Ibraaz, which opened a space at 93 Mortimer Street in London’s vibrant Fitzrovia Galleries district, was founded by Lina Lazaar, Vice President of the Kamel Lazaar Foundation, as a platform to highlight creativity and expression from the Global South. The space debuted with an inaugural exhibition by Ibrahim Mahama, featuring discarded objects from Mahama's home country of Ghana.
